Recipe: Chocolate protein energy balls
Here's one of our favorite chocolate protein energy ball recipes. It's an amazing little treat before a workout to give you energy, or as a snack on the go! We love to make big batches of these and then keep them stored in the freezer. So you can grab one out of your freezer any time - just wait 5 minutes before eating it.
How to make these protein energy balls?
- 20 pitted dates
- 150 gr almonds
- 100 coconut flakes
- 35 gr cacao powder
- A pinch of salt
- Few drops of vanilla extract
- 1 scoop chocolate YHF protein
Mix everything together in a high speed blender until you get a sticky dough consistency. Roll little balls out of the dough and let harden in the fridge or freezer. Enjoy!
